Niwot LoopIf you are looking for an easy, close hike you will find a beautiful option at the Niwot Loop! The super-accessible trailhead is just off 52 and 79th with a nice parking lot. You will see the trail right away and there is a fun little bridge just perfect for kids to run across.
Left Hand CreekYou may have visited this little gem of a park without even discovering the best part- the creek! Just off the bike path, away from the playground runs Left Hand Creek. There are plenty of little trails, homemade dirt bike ramps and a few swinging ropes along the way, perfect for kids to swing out over the water. At twilight, it is just beautiful and you feel like you are really somewhere special, even though it's right in the middle of town.
